The ABA Services Work Group presented the code change application to the CPT Editorial Panel in February 2017.
This application contained:
- A revised code set
- Rationale for proposed revisions
- Vignettes of patients and descriptions of work that goes into each code
- Evidence review
- Policy statements
- Descriptions of providers for these services
